Socio-Economic Research

Socio-economic research forms the connection between any processes in the population that could have an effect on the economic performance of a country. Most commonly those processes comprise education, occupation and income but this segment gives a wider interpretation to this definition and will include aspects of the size of the population/demographics, health care, ethnicity, and more. Thus, a wide range of questions will be discussed throughout the different sections and provide background information on important social topics. 

Demographics and population growth are important processes for economic development that have seen dynamics changes in recent history. The effects of slower population growth and the resulting demographic challenges for the world and individual countries are the focus of this section.
